GenePattern in the Amazon Cloud

This free GenePattern public server (cloud.genepattern.org) allows you to store up to 30 GB at one time for the purpose of conducting analyses on the GenePattern platform. The storage and analyses are provided free of charge. GenePattern reserves the right to delete stored files and/or terminate free accounts on this server at any time with or without notice.  Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if a file is unused for 180 days, then GenePattern may delete it after attempting notification.

Additional information about the Cloud GenePattern Server:

• This server makes use of Amazon’s elastic compute resources and batch processing, allowing for greater compute capacity, both in terms of numbers and intensity of jobs.
• The job purge is set to 14 days.
• As of Nov 4, 2019, there is a limit of 25 concurrent jobs per user.
• This server has a 1 hour maintenance window on the first Monday of each month from 2pm - 3pm PST (UTC-8)

Protected Health Information: By registering for GenePattern/GenePattern Notebook, you agree that you will upload only information that can be made available for public consumption and for which you have specific permission.  Do not upload information that identifies specific individuals or that can be associated with them, known as Personally Identifiable Information (PII).  If you have any doubts as to whether specific information can be uploaded, please consult the Compliance Office in your institution. The Regents of the University of California do not accept any responsibility or liability for any information that you upload that is prohibited above.
